FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Sacramento, CA (November 6th, 2012) – Susan J. Ashbrook, pioneer in the field of celebrity marketing, is Ladybrille Magazine’s Woman of the Month for November 2012.
The Ladybrille ‘Woman of the Month’ is a monthly feature on Ladybrille magazine which celebrates women, locally and internationally, for their brilliant contributions to their communities and society at large.
“I am beyond honored to be featured in Ladybrille to help share my story as an entrepreneur, pioneer and a woman,” said Ashbrook when asked about what it felt like to be honored as Ladybrille Woman of the Month.
Ashbrook has been involved in celebrity product placement for twenty years. She founded and pioneered Film Fashion, the first fashion product placement company in Los Angeles. Her first client was Ralph Lauren, and she went on to match top celebrities with a roster of clients that included Lanvin, Chopard, Swarovski, Escada, Isaac Mizrahi, and many more. She has also consulted for non-fashion brands like Nikon, Hasbro, and MasterCard. In 2008, Ashbrook sold Film Fashion to the Public Relations power house Rogers & Cowan.
“One of the questions we often receive, especially from our fashion designer readers, is how they can get American celebrities to wear their designs on Hollywood’s most prominent red carpets,” said Uduak Oduok, Editor-in-Chief for Ladybrille Magazine. “Susan pioneered and perfected the art of celebrity marketing. She also helped many designers increase their brand equity and revenue by having prominent names wear their designs on the most prominent red carpets in showbiz. We are honored to celebrate her remarkable achievements and also share her insights with our audience.”
Susan Ashbrook’s interview will be published on Monday November 12th, 2012 on the magazine’s website at www.ladybrillemag.com.
