African Cinema: ‘Okafor’s Law’ a film by Omoni Oboli to be screened at the Pan African Film Festival, Los Angeles

Nollywood actress and director Omoni Oboli will screen her new movie, Okafor’s Law, at the respected annual Pan African Film & Art Festival (PAFF) in Los Angeles. The screening will be held at Cinemark Baldwin Hills Cinema 15, Boulevard on Tuesday, February 14th (9:10pm) and Monday, February 20th (7:50pm).

Okafor’s Law is a story about a serial seducer (Blossom Chukwujekwu) who bets his friends that he can bed three ex-girlfriends in six weeks. His goal is to prove the law that says straight men and women can never be just friends, especially if they have shared a prior romantic relationship history.

The movie stars Omoni Oboli, Toyin Abraham, Blossom Chukwujekwu, Ken Erics, Gabriel Afolayan, Ufuoma McDermott, Kemi Lala Akindoju, Yvonne Jegede, Richard Mofe Damijo, Halima Abubakar, Mary Lazarus, Uche Nnaji, Betty Irabor, Tina Mba, Gabriel Afolayan, and Funke Bucknor.

The movie was succesfully screened last year at The Toronton International Film Festival
